Study Confirms Facts Once again, science astounds us with findings that we already knew.
Plenty of times we here at Sex-Kitten.Net have commented on our love of the female form & how looking at images of sexy women turns us on.
Study Confirms Facts
Inquiries that ask about our orientations, 'are you really straight?' & 'so you have bi-tendencies, right?' abound. Despite the fact that most of us here are heterosexual ~ columnists and message board members ~ the fact that we comment on our delight at the female form seems to be doubted.
But here's a study that proves we are not alone, not so odd, not so damn rare. And while we love to be rare jewels, we don't argue with this study ~ It tells you what we already knew:
"...heterosexual women were just as sexually aroused by watching female stimuli as by watching male stimuli, even though they prefer having sex with men rather than women."
Translated to English, and fleshed out a bit more, this means women get turned on by seeing images that include the female form. We enjoy seeing pictures that men regard as 'for men,' such as naked women even without a male companion. We enjoy seeing men too, don't get us wrong, but we can find any erotica a starting point...
Even if we eventually end up with a man, there may have been a woman behind our initial arousal.
This study by Northwestern University, seems to surprise many. What seems to amze them most is that this 'bisexual arousal pattern' exists in both heterosexual females as well as lesbian females. Leading them to the astonishing conclusion that "men’s and women’s minds and brains are very different."
Duh. Do ya thnk?!
I'd like to know how much money this study cost. I know I should be happy that these astonishing facts have now been brought to life. But somehow, I still sense they can't believe their own results... If they couldn't believe their own eyes, ears & other senses, if they couldn't figure out years of annecdotal & documentated history of the lives of humans, then what makes me think they will believe one study?
*sigh*
Next thing you know, they will 'discover' that the largest sex organ is the brain... *wink*
