Wow.. its here... it finally came. I knew it would. I remember thinking about it when I was in my 20's...heck, even in my 30's...and now I'm finally there. Yes, I've entered the fabulous 40's. I've been 40 for almost 2 years now... and I can honestly say, its a helluva lot better than my 20's were. In my 20's I was worried about how I looked, and dressed, and how many men I could tempt into buying me drinks and not getting anything in return, if you know what I mean...
In my 30's i had the worries of everyday stress of working full time, being a mommy, and dealing with a hubby who had an bit of a problem with alcohol... a mother who had passed away a few years earlier, and a father who couldn't live alone and was calling me at all times of the day and night. Thank God for my lifesaving gal pal across the street...in those times she helped me more than she will ever know. ;)
Now in my 40's and my daughter off to college and soon to be married, I find myself happy in all my pursuits. I'm doing something I never thought I'd be good at: writing.
I was once told to put it all on paper, that I had a way with the written word. So now I'm trying my hand at that. You can read about some of my adventures over at adult Backwash... oh yeah, and I'm also a member of the Unholy trinity, so be sure to check them out as well.. :)
