Women love to receive lavish little gifts, and lingerie is no exception ~ silk, satin, lace, leather, what else can be so little & so lush?

But it can be devastating to open a gift box, see a pretty little hint of lace & lift it with joy, only to find out that it will not fit.

It can be even more upsetting when the size is so far off, that a girl can’t help but wonder... ‘Was this really intended for me?’ ‘Does he really think I am this big/small?’ ‘Is this the size he wishes I was?!’

We aren’t trying to pick a fight here, boys, but when someone who is so intimate with our parts has no idea of their size, we can’t help but be hurt. Your lack of knowledge implies that either you simply don’t care, or that you are trying to send a subtle message... It’s a no-win situation for all. So let’s avoid this, shall we?

Ideally you will have been allowed a few minutes alone in her boudoir to take a peep at her fine delicates, and you will have written down her sizes. If you couldn’t be sneaky long enough to get them all, the most important one is the bar size. Just this size can get you pretty far indeed.

Bra size consists of a number and a letter. The number is the measurement of the underbust in inches, and this is used in sizing many ladies intimates. Generally, the ‘average’ sizes are 32, 34, & 36, which correspond to Small, Medium, & Large as well.

However, the second part of the bra size is the letter, or cup size. If you weren’t able to find her bra size, or if there were varying sizes in her drawer, here’s a simple tool for figuring out her cup size.

Would you describe her breasts as equaling:

A) Half a lemon each
B) Half an orange each
C) Half a grapefruit each
D) Half a melon each

The letter of your answer is her cup size!

(We are sorry to ask you to describe your sex goddess in the terms of fruit, but it works! And we are on a mission to make you a proficient gift giver, so we do what needs to be done!)

Now if your lady’s breasts are larger than the chart shows, you’ll need to do some more sleuthing.

Now that you know her cup size, let me tell you, anything over a C makes things more complicated. A 34D will not be a Medium, likely not even a large. But don’t despair! Most stores will be able to help you decipher things according to their manufactures’ sizes, online shoppes should have a page for sizing as well.

Since we Sex Kittens are dedicated to your success as a lingerie gift giver, we offer a chart for your convenience. This chart is a general guideline for most US fashions.
