Hello Gorgeous! ADeadHeart's been going through some trying times in her personal life - but that's no excuse for letting myself go!

Even with my troubles, there are a bunch of products out there that have helped me to at least maintain a beauty regimen. So here's a few of my fave products and a bit about them.

One of my newest faves is Deep Steep Bath Tea. It's 5 bucks a tea bag - I know, I know. But you can actually swing 2 uses out of them. And they are wonderful. Perfectly, correctly scented, soothing or awakening, depending on your choice, and skin softening to boot.

Now, as a DJ, surrounded by stagnant air and cigarette smoke, always in the public eye, I am fanatical about my face. Here's a few of my tried and true items...

Aveda - Tourmaline Charged Hydrating Cream

Yeah, it ain't cheap. It's Aveda after all. But I swear by this stuff. Barely there scent, greaseless and easily blended in. Will increase moisture without causing breakouts. Love it. A jar usually lasts me about 6 months. A dab'll do ya!

Oil of Olay - Age Defying Revitalizing Eye Gel

Now, I thought I'd be too young for this. But it helps. A clear, soothing gel that slides on like water. Invisible too. It's cooling, and will not only help with those little wrinkles we all live in fear of - but it eases dark circles and puffiness too. Mom also bought me some of that crazy expensive stuff from Chanel. They both seem to work the same for me...so save your pennies!

Neutrogena - Pore Refining Mask

Another soothing, water-based gel. Slide it one once or twice a week, then rinse. That's it. Makes my face feel supple and I see noticeably smaller pores. Which is a good thing. Be warned - it may bring a small bit of acne to the surface the first few times. Just what you were hoping for huh?

Aveda - Intense Hydrating Masque

Aveda does it again. I bought this to use as a sunburn pain killer. It can be used as a facial mask, which can be rinsed off, or applied all over and left on for some serious moisture. I have normally oily skin and so far, this stuff has caused no problems.

Neutrogena - Alcohol Free Antiseptic Cleanser - for Sensitive Skin

Here we go again! I used to use Sea-Breeze but it got too harsh for my skin - even though I loved that fresh, clean feeling. So I switched. And am glad that I did. Neutrogena still gives your skin that cold glow I like so much, but it also cleans great. When I stumble in the door at 3 am, I am not interested in washing my face for 10 minutes. Dump some on a tissue (or a cotton ball) and swipe off all the face paint in seconds.

Right Guard - Xtreme Sport Power Stripe Anti-Perspirant / Deodorant

I love this stuff. Yes, it's for guys. Who cares? It WORKS!! It will leave that nasty white mess on your clothes though. But still, that's nothing a damp washcloth can't take care of - and at least you won't stink. I've dried the clear gel version and was not happy with the results. It comes in several scents - my fave is Chill.

Infusium 23 - Leave In Treatment

Seems like no matter how much conditioner I use I still have fly-aways and too many tangles. Try to find the spray version of this as it gets messy trying to rub it in your hands and then applying. But it leaves your hair thicker and the comb just slides right thru. My hair is nearly waist length - a necessity for me!

And lastly - my favorite scent.

Victoria's Secret - Love Spell

I've heard Gracie is not a big fan of Miss Victoria...honestly, I am not either. I cannot wear that shit. But...I have a bunch of perfumes and lotions et al from Vicki's Secret (and Wally World) and this is my top choice. So head over to VS, ignore the underwear that won't fit, and pick up a few "flavors". They always, always have big sales on.
