Spirituality & Sexuality Typically, there are three topics that most folks steer clear of in coversation in order to avoid any potential arguments. But Sex Kittens are not always typical... Sex, Religion & Politics. These subjects are so personal, so emotionally charged, that it difficult even for good friends & close family members to discuss them without conversation becoming 'heated.' So most folks avoid discussing even just one of these topics. And we dare to discuss two of them: Spirituality & Sexuality.
Well, at least on the surface it's only two topics. But you'll soon see that when you put these topics together, quite often, there are political implications...
For it seems that all too often religion is used by governments worldwide to control sexual freedoms. And we don't even mean the current hot topic of gay marriages in the USA either ~ There are plenty of other areas where these three issues meet up! (Read the Boudoir Tails, & you'll see!)
So perhaps we sex kittens are not typical when it comes to our willingness to discuss the spiritual & the sexual, but we do offer our typical honesty, candor & opinions.
As the Editor, I would like to mention that not all faiths are presented in this issue ~ this is not for lack of trying. But we had little luck reaching women of other faiths to share their stories & experiences. If your faith &/or opinion is not covered here, please contact us. Perhaps the next time we publish an issue on this theme, you can be a part of it!
