My Favorite Things I afford myself few luxuries and I'm a practical do-it-myself type of girl. Yet I can't live without my bath and body and home pampering products. I don't treat myself to manicures, pedicures, massages or getting my hair done. I do pretty much everything myself so I enjoy products that let me indulge myself at home. The two main companies I buy from are Avon and Enchanted Potions. I grew up relatively poor and learned the value of a dollar. Today I still do not have money to throw around. Any extra money usually goes to my family or my home. I have learned how to be quite a savvy shopper and love clearance racks, thrift stores and scouring the internet for great deals and free offers.
My two favorite places to shop online are Avon and Enchanted Potions. I grew up with Avon and absolutely love their facial products, cosmetics and their line of Planet Spa products, but I found a relatively new company online one day and decided to give them a try. Enchanted Potions is a small company in Tennessee that produces hand crafted bath and body products fresh when you order them. None of their stuff sits around on shelves waiting to be bought and it is a pretty high quality line of products offered in no fuss, no frills packaging so you aren’t paying for fancy wrapping.
Once I ordered a few things from Enchanted Potions I was hooked. They offer a bit of everything; shampoo, conditioner, lotions, bubble baths, bombs and oils, shower gels, soaps, body sprays, massage oils, body scrubs, and scents for the home. They have products for the whole family including romantic gift sets. They also have over 90 scents to choose from so you can customize your products. It’s easy to customize a gift basket for everyone on your holiday shopping list. I know I’m ordering plenty of lotions, bubble baths, and body sprays to make up gift baskets this year.
A few of my favorite products from Enchanted Potions are the Cellulite Reducing Lotion, the Brown Sugar Body Scrub, Luna Love Dust, and the Enchanted Massage Oil. The Cellulite Reducing Lotion makes my thighs feel and look great but what I love the most is the scent; a spicy, sweet blend that makes me think of summer and sex. I ordered a whole line of bubble bath, body spray, and lotions just in that scent (that’s another thing you can ask for custom blended scents, I asked for everything to be made in the cellulite blend scent). The Brown Sugar Body Scrub is a luxurious spa treatment that exfoliates and leaves my skin soft and smooth. The Enchanted Massage Oil is a wonderful non-greasy oil that is wonderful to use during a sexy evening with someone special.
The Luna Love Dust is their sexiest and most wonderful product. It is a delightful, edible powder that you can dust on your lover’s body in all the right spots and lick off. Yum. Right now the Luna Love Dust isn’t on the website for sale because they are reworking the formula and adding new flavors. I can’t wait to try them all. So far I’ve tried the coconut which has a great though not overpowering taste of coconut. It reminds me of summer, sun, suntan oil, and hot sweaty sex. I hope they bring the Luna Love Dust back very soon.
Enchanted Potions has a wide range of scent choices: everything from Apple to Ylang-Ylang and everything in between. For the holidays they have added; Apple Jack, Cranberry Crush, Eggnog, Gingerbread, Jingleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Santa’s Pipe, Sugar Plum, Twigs and Berries and several others.
My favorite scents are the blend used for the cellulite reducing lotion, Hot Apple Pie, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and one of their new scents added for the holidays, Jingleberry. I must say aside from the cellulite blend the Warm Vanilla Sugar is my favorite. I love Vanilla always have. This Vanilla is a little more it has some extra spice in it. My husband says I smell good enough to eat. Of course that’s usually just what I had in mind. That’s why I love to wear scents that remind me of food. I want to be edible.
Enchanted Potions is full of my favorite bath and body needs and definitely one place I’ll be doing a lot of my holiday shopping.
