I like my feet. They are the one thing I can be vain about and not change my mind the next day. They are small, size 6 to 6 ½ depending on the shoe, and they are nicely shaped. My middle toe does not extend past my big toe; they are not too veiny or boney. I have been told many times I should be a foot model. I’m not sure how one goes about doing that so I have never tried. Since my feet are my favorite body parts I tend to pamper them. I have a wide variety of foot scrubs and special lotions and creams just for my feet and even at nine months pregnant when I couldn’t even see the poor things I made sure they were well taken care of and painted prettily.

It’s amazing that they still look so great after the things they have been put through. I always walk around bare foot even in the winter. I’ve slammed them into things, they’ve been crushed and stepped on many times and even though they are delicate and soft I can walk bare foot through the snow or across hot pavement. For many years they were tormented and tortured and stuffed into wooden toed ballet shoes which left them bloody and blistered frequently. After that they were often crammed into high heeled pointy toe things which looked great but were never comfortable. Now I take better care of them and wear comfortable open toed sandals or no shoes at all.

The most amazing thing about my feet though is not how they look; it is what I can do with them. One of my nick names since child hood has been monkey toes. My mother has photos of me from the baby stages through toddlerdom into childhood of me holding things and picking things up with my feet. It’s one of those semi useless talents that won’t make me rich but adds to the uniqueness of me. I can walk around my house and pick things up without ever bending over, very useful in a house full of children who never pick anything up. I can pick up garbage with my toes and toss it into the can. I can pick up toys or whatever and throw them somewhere else. I can stretch and wiggle and wave each toe individually and make my kids giggle. I can even hold a pencil or pen and write with my feet.

The men in my life, past and present, have found my feet to be useful in other ways. I have come across a few men with a foot fetish that loved my feet more than they loved the rest of me. I’ve had a few that worshipped my feet and spent much time rubbing, kissing, and sucking on them. Others just found them mildly fascinating and considered the things I could do with them to be a novelty. A few have begged me to use my feet. I can give great massages, either to backs or other body parts, and I have gotten a few guys off by using just my feet.

My husband has enjoyed my talented feet. He is one that just enjoys the novelty of them since he is not really into feet. He may comment on whatever pretty color of polish I have chosen to adorn them with and he absolutely loves the back rubs I can give with them. That’s about as far as it goes. Though he does find it amusing when I pick something up with them.

I will continue to pamper my feet and be vain about them, especially during the summer when I can show them off in sexy little sandals. I don’t need anyone to worship them though the spoiled little things do miss and crave that extra attention sometimes.
