Celebrating Banned Books Week, Sex Kitten Style.

It's no shocker that we here at SK have some serious issues with censorship. It's not just that we like adult entertainment, or that we like a little gratuitous ass now and then in a movie, but as intelligent women we believe in the right to intellectual freedom.

Banned Books Week (BBW) is a celebration, sponsored by the American Library Association, which states "celebrates the freedom to choose or the freedom to express one’s opinion even if that opinion might be considered unorthodox or unpopular and stresses the importance of ensuring the availability of those unorthodox or unpopular viewpoints to all who wish to read them. After all, intellectual freedom can exist only where these two essential conditions are met."

Here at Sex Kitten we agree, wholeheartedly. So join us as we celebrate Banned Books Week here at SK ~ with not only rants, but fond memories of books that have been challenged &/or banned. And while you're here, add your stories too. Celebrate your right to express your opinions and that others may in fact read your opinions even as you may read the opinions of others.
