Don't Mess With the Moms Sometimes you just have to teach by example...even if it is embarrassing. Long ago and far, far away there was a group of young adults who were extremely intelligent. Too intelligent. Every one of them crossed the line from normal to genius and a couple of them were so far over the line they were dangerously genius. They joined together in a band and called themselves "The Proverts." Now, this is not to say they had street smarts or even common sense. They didn't. Otherwise, why would they make a mistake and mess with the moms? The young adults joined around a couple of "Moms" who would openly encourage their discussions of sex, being gay and lesbian, and topics that other adults just got all jittery and flustered when the young adults talked about them. But the "Proverts" made one drastic and fatal mistake: they didn't think the "Moms" who were over 40, could really understand about sex and being sexy. A gathering of the clan was coming up, so the "Moms" decided it was time to teach these young adults an object lesson. They made their preparations: DON'T MESS WITH THE MOMS by Scottie Harris and the Proverts The young were told "Don't push" but the did so the moms decided to handle it. Strawberries, whipped cream, fruit flavored popsicles appeared from nowhere and passed mature lips. Looks of confusion. Embarrassment of young ones who had no clue the moms were capable of such actions. Berries, lush and red, covered in creamy white slid seductively and gracefully into moist mouths of gentle words and caring smiles as the boys blushed crimson as the berries.
Don't mess with the moms! Later frozen rods of fruit taught the daughters they were not immune because of their sex as they joined the boys in the heat of embarrassment. Not only the young know how to play. Don't mess with the moms! Once over their confusion, the Proverts all laughed and years later, when they, too, were more than young, they remembered the lessons they were taught about never being too old. And the lessons taught became part of Provert lore, the story forever repeated. Read more Twisted Poetry at Rash's Poetry House.
