Doug Clark and The Hot Nuts Panty Raid DeeDee goes on a Panty Raid with Doug and his Hot Nuts, 1960's style. I was introduced to the band via a post at Schadenfreudian Therapy, who wrote:
"Doug Clark & the Hot Nuts were lords of the toga party and masters of the single entendre, providing the soundtrack for the drunken debauchery of 60’s frat party life. One of Doug Clark’s greatest disappointments was being passed over for the toga party band in “Animal House”—rightly so, since they practically invented the genre."
She's got a few downloads there, including a song we all know, My Ding-a-ling. A smitten kitten, I naturally went to do some research.
At The Thinkin' Man's Guide to Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts: By James Porter and Dave Dunlap Jr. I discovered a great discography and the mini-reviews made me hot to find Panty Raid.
Here, for your personal enjoyment, are some clips. If you dig it, and you will, you can get a copy of Doug Clark & the Hot Nuts Greatest Hits, featuring, Baby, Let Me Bang Your Box, at Amazon.
